Pottery Painting is one of our most popular studio staples. Book a table, pick your piece from our selection of ceramic blanks, and make it your own with our paints, brushes, and stencils.
Whether you're dropping in for a quiet solo afternoon, catching up with friends, or capturing a sweet milestone with baby handprints, it’s a completely relaxed space to unwind and create.
How Pottery Painting at Yarnwick Nook works
Pick your ceramic piece, choose your colors, and enjoy a relaxed hour or two of painting. Once your design is complete, leave it with us, we’ll glaze and fire it in our kiln, with your finished pottery ready to collect in 7–10 days. We have a wide range of blanks to suit every age, and we're always happy to share tips and ideas if you need a little inspiration. And of course, we always have hot drinks and fresh cake on hand to keep you fuelled while you create.
P.S. Our studio is a great spot for making thoughtful keepsakes, too. We can help you capture sweet milestones like baby handprints and footprints on mugs and plates.
Booking & Session Details
Booking your spot:
As one of our most popular activities, we recommend pre-booking just to make sure you get a seat! Each session lasting 1 hour 45 minutes. (If it's a quieter day, you’re more than welcome to stay a little longer if bookings allow!)
How the pricing works:
Studio Fee: There is a £5 fee per painter, which covers your booking, all your paints, glazing, and the kiln firing.
Your Ceramic Piece:
Once you’re at the studio, you’ll choose your ceramic blank from our shelves. These are individually priced, so you can easily pick something that fits your style and budget.
