Cancellation Policy

Crafting at Yarnwick Nook is a special experience, and we prepare each workshop with care, from materials and equipment to tutor time and studio setup. Our cancellation policy helps us keep sessions running smoothly for everyone. Workshop places are not deemed confirmed until full payment has been received.

Yarnwick Nook cannot be held responsible for any circumstances out of our control, such as weather related, traffic or other external party issues.

Cancellations by Participants

  • 14+ days before the workshop:

You may transfer to another workshop date (subject to availability) or receive a full credit note to use on future bookings. Please note credit notes are non refundable.

  • 3–14 days before the workshop:

We can offer a 50% credit note or we will work with you to transfer your booking to another date if we are able to fill your space.

  • 48 hours or less before the workshop:

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds, transfers, or credit. At this stage, materials and tutor time have already been prepared. The full charge of the workshop will be payable, (no refund will be issued), and you will not be entitled to any workshop credit note.

  • No‑shows:

Non‑attendance without notice is treated as a late cancellation and is non‑refundable.
If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to send someone in your place, just let us know their name before the session.

Cancellations by Yarnwick Nook
On the rare occasion we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop (for example, due to illness or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered:

  • A transfer to a new date, or

  • A full refund, or

  • A credit note for future use

We’ll always contact you as soon as possible and do our best to minimise disruption.

General Workshop Policy

Late Arrivals
Workshops start promptly. If you arrive late, we’ll help you settle in, but we may not be able to extend the session beyond the scheduled finish time, or provide additional support.

Minimum Numbers
Some workshops require a minimum number of participants to run. If a session doesn’t reach this number, we’ll contact you in advance with options to transfer, credit, or refund.

Food and Drink
Only food and drink purchased in the studio can be consumed on site, we do not allow the bringing of your own food or drink.

Thank You
Your understanding helps us create a calm, well‑prepared, and enjoyable experience for everyone who joins us at Yarnwick Nook. If you have any questions about this policy or need to make changes to your booking, please get in touch — we’re always happy to help.
